Tejas Tubes, LLC was founded by a musician for musicians and audiophiles. We provide excellent testing, screening, matching, and grading of top quaility NOS vacuum tubes. If you are looking for the best in vacuum tubes and service, you have come to the right place.

Testing:

All tubes are completely tested for gas, shorts, leakage, and transconductance on our unforgiving, COMPUTERIZED and calibrated Hickok 118B cardmatic tester. Matching for pre-amp tubes is available for $5.00 per tube. Balanced triode tubes are available in limited quantities as most lots will contain only 10% where both triodes are balanced.  Balanced tubes for phase inverters and other applications are an extra $10.00 per tube. Power output tubes are also tested on our Maxi-Matcher to provide tightly matched pairs within 1-5 milliamps of current draw.

Noise Testing/Grading:

All pre-amp tubes are noise tested in an actual circuit at our facility for microphonics and noise, and then dual section tubes are further graded for the closest section matching possible. Please call us or email and let us know the grade you are looking for!

Here is our easy to understand grading system:

Balanced: Sections are identical. (add $10 per tube)

Triple Platinum: Sections are between 1-5% triode balance of each other.

Platinum: Sections are between 5-10% triode balance of each other.

Gold: Sections are between 10-20% triode balance of each other.

Tejas Tubes Ships Worldwide except to Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Liberia, Rwanda, Somalia, and UNITA (Angola)!

All tubes are professionally packed ultra-safe and usually ship the same day you place your order.  Shipping is automatically calculated upon checkout with freight, insurance, and handling charges included.   International shipping is via EMS Global express mail for shipping worldwide. Overnite processing of your order is available at $50 extra.

International orders require shipping charges which are higher than the automatically calculated amount. All International orders must be shipped via EMS for online tracking of delivery and secure arrival. No exceptions! Please note that we use Express Mail International via USPS for online tracking and confirmation of delivery which requires more postage than the auto-calculated amount, so please click on the button below to add the $25.00 USD extra to your shopping cart to cover the additional shipping costs for your order!

Payment: 

You can pay for your items online with any major credit card safely and securely through Paypal. You do NOT need to have a Paypal account!   Just click on the Add To Cart button to select the item you want to purchase, enter the quantites you desire, and then follow the simple and easy instructions for 100% secure online ordering with any major credit card.  We also accept cashiers checks, and money orders (drawn only on US Banks in US Dollars).  If you are planning on mailing your payment, please email us your order and we will send you an invoice along with payment instructions.

Policies:

All tubes are FULLY tested prior to shipment.  We do not guarantee any level of umos measurement on your tube test equipment or how any tube will perform in any given circuit. All shipments are shipped fully insured. Therefore, any non-functioning tubes received by the customer are considered shipping damage and all claims must be filed with the freight carrier (Fedex, UPS, or USPS) by the customer. Returns will be accepted by contacting us within 3 days of receipt and ONLY for functioning tubes returned in their original condition less a 25% restocking fee. Return shipping is the responsibility of buyer, and S&H and insurance is non-refundable. Exchanges may be made on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of Tejas Tubes, LLC and tubes returned for exchange are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and buyer is responsible for shipping fees to ship out replacement tubes. When returning tubes to us, we strongly suggest packing the tubes properly and securely (the way they were packed when we shipped them to you), and fully insuring any returns to us as we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or misdirected shipments.

Special Requests:

If you require something special then please let us know. We aim to please! If you require pictures or test results, then we will send you an invoice for your tubes which you can pay online. After we receive your payment, then we will gladly send you pictures as well as test results for final approval before shipping. We do not provide pictures or specific test results prior to payment.
