Tube Buying Guidelines of Tejas Tubes:

We are always willing to buy new, unsued, audio and hifi vacuum tubes in their original boxes.

1) We do NOT pre-pay for audio vacuum tubes. All tubes must be shipped to us and be verified for authenticity and tested before payment is made. We do NOT send any form of deposit prior to tubes being shipped to us, and make payment promptly after testing is completed.

2) We pay by cashiers check or company check or bank wire transfer after tubes have been received and tested at our test facility here in Houston, Texas or any other testing facility we deem necessary to properly screen and evaluate tubes submitted to us for sale.

3) Any damaged. unusable, unstable, sub-standard, or unacceptable tubes can be returned to the seller at the seller's expense, scrapped on site, or made available for local pick up. Any repacking, boxing, or any other service required to return unacceptable tubes (including freight charges) will be at the seller's expense and billed to the seller on a time and materials basis, and will be deducted from final payment. All returns of damaged, unusable, unstable, sub-standard, or unacceptable tubes are shipped FOB Houston, Texas and will be fully isnured at Seller's expense. Tejas Tubes is not responsible for damaged, misdirected, lost, or stolen shipments or tubes being returned to the seller. Acceptability of tubes is at the sole discretion of Tejas Tubes and Tejas Tubes reserves the right to reject any tube submitted for sale for any reason at any time.

4) We do NOT buy any russian or chinese made tubes.

5) We do NOT buy tube types which we do not need. We only buy those audio and hifi vacuum tube types which we require.

5) Prices paid vary according to test results, condition of tubes and boxes, and demand of certain tube types. We are extremely fair and honest, and value those people which sell us vacuum tubes as much as those who buy from us.

6) We are not a vacuum tube appraisal service, nor do we pay retail prices for vacuum tubes as we are an audio vacuum tube dealer. Please email a detailed list of vacuum tubes (tube type number and brand name of each tube) you wish to sell, an idea of the wholesale price which you are expecting to receive for the tubes you have. If we find your price expectations to be reasonable and a fair exchange of value, then we will have you ship the tubes to us for testing.
