Made in Ulm West Germany in 1960-1970's, these are the holy grail of all 12ax7 variants. Extremely low noise/ low microphonics, 10,000 hour cathode, unsurpassed inner resolution, phenomenal high end extension and ultra smooth. If you want widest open sound stage these are an excellent investment for your system. All pieces are thoroughly noise tested and screened for microphonics on our VTV tube characterizer, and then additionally tested for gas, shorts, leakage, and transconductance on our computerized and calibrated Hickok 118B.And further tested and screened on our Amplitrex AT-1000 unit.
